Haydn R. Slater founded Slaterstone Financial Services with one clear conviction: that every Canadian deserves access to personalized, trustworthy financial advice — not a one-size-fits-all product pitch.
Armed with an Advanced Diploma in Business Administration & Finance with a specialization in Financial Planning, Haydn brings deep technical expertise and real-world experience to the firm. His background as an insurance advisor at one of Canada's Big 5 Banks gives him an inside understanding of the industry — including what large institutions do well, and where independent, client-focused advising can do better.
Throughout his career, Haydn has advised clients on wealth management, debt reduction, comprehensive insurance coverage, and retirement and estate planning. He is known for his ability to listen carefully, assess each client's unique situation, and develop strategies that truly fit — not strategies designed to close a sale.
At Slaterstone, his mission is straightforward: to be the advisor he wished more people had access to. Approachable, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in every client's outcome.
